The Koi Clear filter tank is suitable for the “do-it-yourself” pond enthusiast as a vortex filter or complete pond filter with the media of your choice.

Plumb it up the way you need it. Add your own bulkhead fittings or order separately from us.

Ideal flow rate is between 3500 gph to 5000 gph. For settling of solids go up to 3500 gph. For biological filtration, go up to 5000 gph.

Aim for a minimum pond turnover rate of 1 time per hour. Large ponds may require multiple Koi Clear in parallel. Each plumbed independently.

Tank dimensions are 42″ diameter x 40″ tall. It tapers down to a 2 x 2 bottom area which acts as a bottom clean out area which also supports the tank.

Tank holding capacity is 132 gallons (500 liters).

An optional 304 stainless steel stand is available for additional support.

See our drawings for examples of different filter options.

Includes the lid.
